‘Cosmo Kisses for the Troops’ Van Will Gather Kisses in NYC on Veterans Day & Set New World Record for Kisses Collected in a Day
Cosmopolitan Magazine is partnering with Maybelline New York and the United Service Organizations (USO) to collect and deliver “Kisses for the Troops.”
On Wednesday, November 11th (Veterans Day), the Cosmo Kisses for the Troops Van will visit various spots in New York City with a military escort and uniformed personnel; consumers will be able to kiss a post card, which will be delivered to servicemen overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan just in time for New Year’s Eve.
Maybelline New York will be providing various shades of ColorSensational lipstick in the Cosmo Kisses for the Troops Van to create the lip prints.
Cosmopolitan and Maybelline will donate one dollar for each kiss collected to the USO.
In addition, all kisses collected between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. that day will be counted towards setting a brand new Guinness World Record for the most lip prints collected in 12 hours.
